As a Salesforce Developer at smzh, you will play a critical role in enhancing and expanding our Salesforce ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders, to develop innovative solutions that drive business value and improve our customer experience. We are looking for someone who is not only a problem solver but also a proactive contributor, ready to bring new ideas to the table and implement creative solutions beyond standard requirements.
Responsibilities
- Customize Salesforce (primarily Sales Cloud) solutions to meet business needs.
- Develop and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), or Aura.
- Implement integrations (REST, SOAP, use of standard APIs), and leverage other advanced Salesforce features to enhance system capabilities.
- Prepare and execute tests to cover business functionalities and ensure platform reliability.
- Implement process automation using both code and declarative tools on the Salesforce platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams to share ideas and ensure alignment across projects.

Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or in a similar role within a professional environment.
- Fluent communication skills in both English and German (B2).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), or Aura.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with web technologies.
- Understanding of data modeling, SQL-like languages, and Salesforce data structures.
- Experience with web services and interfaces (REST and SOAP) and using common IDEs like Visual Studio Code.
- Comprehensive understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud and Salesforce AI tools is a plus.
- Salesforce certifications are not mandatory but are highly valued (e.g., Salesforce Developer I, Salesforce JavaScript Developer I, Salesforce App Builder, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce AI Associate/Specialist).
- Self-driven with a high level of initiative and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about learning and staying up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies and best practices.
